i get a voltage reading of 14.5 +/- and the following DTC codes. P0622 Generator field terminal circuit. P1632 Smart alternator faults sensor/circuit. 14.5 is probably a bit on the low side for a 'smart' system, depending on how you are measuring it and whether it is the initial voltage or voltage after the charging system has settled down a bit. Warranty Direct figures show Ford as suffereing less problems than Toyota including fuel system issues.
